Cultivating a Culture of Life

What a joy it is to see how our God is opening up opportunities for the advancement of the gospel of his kingdom through the film Unplanned. In our forty-plus year fight against abortion in our country in the halls of our governments and on the streets with protests, who would have thought that it would be a film that would have such an impact?

God has given his church a gift in Unplanned, not merely to help stem the tide of abortion (which we most certainly desire to happen), but also to minister the gospel of Christ to those contemplating abortion and those who have been through the horrors of abortion. Many in the church of America are seeing the need for this ministry and want to be actively involved in some way, shape, form, or fashion.

Desiring to play our part and help Christians be involved in ministering in this area, we have invited Amanda Ladwig to speak to us. Amanda has been on both sides of this issue. She has been speaking since 2007, occasionally sharing speaking venues with Abby Johnson. Having counseled both pre- and post-abortive mothers, she is in a position to help other Christians understand what is going through the hearts and minds of these mothers. She has been privileged to see the lives of babies saved and women healed, and she desires to help other Christians learn how to minister to these women in their time of need.

There are those in the church who have experienced abortions. Amanda wants to help them, not only come to personal healing through understanding forgiveness in Christ, but also to learn how to speak honestly about their experience so that they might be able to minister to others.

Amanda enjoys her life as a wife and homeschool mom in the beautiful state of Kentucky.
